Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Months had dragged on past the terrified young vampire's inattentive gaze. The horrors of her capture had lingered with her, all but sending her into a paranoid reclusive state as the demure vampire remained nestled away in the sanctuary of the townhome she'd once shared with Isolt. Her closest companion had left her for the arms of her fiance, not that Chizue blamed her in the slightest. After all, Chizue had left her within that terrible place for hours while she had wandered the streets in some effort to get home - much less to find Damon to free her. The guilt of abandoning the woman was perhaps just as great as her own simple fear that they might find her and take her all over again. Although she knew the giant white polar bear had all but murdered the man who had single-handedly caused her so much harm and pain, there was still the concern that ther others would find her - much less punish her in some retribution for both her escape, the loss of Isolt, and the murder of their fellow warlock. All of it was too much for the dear sweet vampire to consider - promoting her to rarely leave the house with the exception of those shifts at the Tavern.

Tonight, however, Chizue remained curled up within the warm blankets of her bed, hardly inclined to move from the depths of the snuggly comforter. She was alone - as she so often was these days. Malek had come and gone, Isolt she rarely saw outside of work anymore, any acquaintances she had made were little more than that and with those memories that still haunted her, she had little desire to make any new 'friends'. Chizue hardly noticed the vehicle that slowly drove up her driveway. The sound of the doorbell echoed throughout the house, causing the demure girl to flinch at the very sharpness of it breaking the still silence that had moments ago surrounded her. For a moment, she considered simply ignoring the door, after all, there was surely a large chance that whoever it was at her door was some door-to-door salesman or something of the like. They would go away, in a few moments. For a moment, silence persisted in the wake of the ringing doorbell only for a voice to call to the petite young girl - one that Chizue recognized almost innately. Damon.

A soft breath left the sweet girl's lips and yet, she was fraught with momentary indecision. She had, admittedly near made every effort to avoid both Isolt and her fiance in the wake of that kidnapping. Her own concerns for what they must surely think of her left her lost in her own little lonely world. Sluggishly, Chizue pulled herself from her bed, the girl dressed in a feminine, slightly oversized shirt that hung slightly off her shoulder and a pair of fleece-lined leggings. Tentatively, the Asian woman made her way towards the door, leaning against it for a moment before she dared to glance out of the small peephole at the man who waited on the other side. The young woman nibbled on her bottom lip, before she reached for the deadbolt, twisting the lock before she reached for the handle of the door. Slowly, she twisted the knob only to pull the door open, peaking around the corner of it at the man with some vague sense of wariness. "Hi." The word fell almost flatly from her lips, her own uncertainty surely clear.
