South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

for the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey
her speech is smoother than oil
but in the end she is bitter as wormwood
sharp as a two-edged sword
her feet go down to death
her steps follow the path to Sheol

- PROVERBS 5:3-5;;
Serafina had never had any illusion that a day like the might happen. After all, she had lived in within the confines of the city the entirety of her life. Even though her mentor had swept her off the streets that were her home, even though he had clipped her wings and imprisoned her behind gilded bars disguised as posh street fronts and stores - she had known all along that someday she might once again run into someone she had once known. What Serafina hadn't expected, however, was that her vision from the past might come at her as someone who wanted the end of her for what she had become. It had rattled the girl more then she was willing to let on, to see the one person in perhaps her whole life that she had looked up to, become the cold hearted killer that stood before her. A soft sigh left Serafina's lips as she met the steely gaze of the woman in front of her, noting the fashion at which the female seemed to shrug. During their youth, it had been Tamzin that had all the answers, letting Serafina follow her around like a young, lost duckling as they raced through the streets, stealing everything they wanted and leaving destruction in their paths. It was funny how little seemed to have changed.

Her grey tinged gaze noted the fashion at which her companion zipped up her jacket, her weapons entirely disappearing, tucking back into that cloth and slowly Serafina reached down to pick up her fallen bag. The female slowly moved to follow within the foot steps of her companion, silent as a mouse as her intent eyes fell upon her childhood friend. Even she could sense the discontent and uncertainty that resonated from the one sure form. It was funny how ghosts of the past could rock all the solid foundation you thought you had beneath your feet - instantly turning it to sand. Serafina hadn't expected her companion to be a Dark Hunter and more then Tamzin had anticipated her being a witch. It confused her, how her once friend let herself fall into such a rigid, cold, blood thirsty world. Sure, they had been indifferent to the downfall of those they had stolen from in their childhood but she never would have classified them as being outwardly malicious. Rather - she had just been trying to get by like most of the youth she ran with.

Her gaze shifted momentarily as the girl halted, her eyes falling upon the deer and yet, un like her companion, the creature hardly unsettled her. Nature had become apart of who she was, what she was. A small shrug crossed her shoulders as Serafina glanced ahead and the woman who looked behind at her. She was hardly concerned about the deer anymore then she was her own life (which admittedly seemed to be less and less with every passing day). After all, there had been talk of liquor to calm the fraying nerves and that was enough for the young witch. The female continued forward, passing her once companion to take the lead on this particular venture. After all, if there was anything that Serafina knew about her city - it was the best place to get utterly wasted.
