East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Well with the coven and Red on the Water basically under Isolt's supervision now, I seem to have a lot less on my plate since returning to Sacrosanct. Not that I mind or anything. It just gives me more of a sense of boredom than I remember. I'm more prone to patrolling the streets at night, looking for easy game or even something challenging so it takes up more time. Since I'm not allowed to see Edie anymore thanks to her over-protective boyfriend, I have no partner in crime per say. Davante needs to hurry up and get his sorry ass back to town. Stupid no good warlock.

I've been spending most of my time dreaming up ways to earn Isolt's forgiveness, to let her know that it's okay to let me hold her heart. I know that I abandoned her without word and I also left the pub and the coven without a leader. I am sorry for that but her protection has always come first to me. I'm blind to anything else.

None the less there are others I missed on my travels to find the coven that wanted Isolt dead, or at least someone who looks a lot like Isolt. I have run across most of them in one way or another. Davante was back for a short period of time but left after only a brief time. I met Ceara again at the vampire gathering Isolt threw together to do some recruiting and even met Anna Marie again, the little girl with a viracious appetite and a creative way to play with her food.

The one vampire I didn't see there though was Yumi. I remember the shy asian vampire well. She was the second vampire I brought into the coven and even offered her a job as a waitress at Red on the Water so she would have purpose. I hear she's been making friends in Sacrosanct, coming out of the woodwork more but she didn't come to the vampire gathering. Just her shy nature at work or something else? Isolt hasn't said anything about her leaving the coven but she hasn't really said anything about her at all so I don't have much to go on.

I want to find her. I want to know she's okay and doing well. I've been hunting her down all day, trying to find her scent or aura or something. I tried the cafe where I first ran into her but she wasn't there so now I'm roaming the sidewalks of Sacrosanct downtown, glancing in the windows of local bars and businesses, trying to find a sight of her. When I glance into a book store, I see the back of someone's head with long flowing black hair and for a moment I pause. Brows furrowing, I walk into the store and behind the person. My hands go into my pockets as I clear my throat. "Yumi? That you?"
