Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Kato Buhari

Kato had never seen someone come down from a vampire high before but it looked akin to when someone from back home ate bad Iboga. The crease of worry and fear that her racing thoughts brought to her face had Kato frowning. "Shhh..." He whispered to quiet her worried words about hate and brushed his fingers gingerly over those lines to smooth them. There was little else that he could say to offer her reassurance that he didn't hate her. Whatever past experience she had which this drug had latched onto was a strong one and unfortunately the drug had to run its course. "You don't have to explain, not right now." He was glad to hear that she felt he had helped her already. Although Kato didn't exactly know what it was that he did that had chased away some of her demons he would accept it at face value.

The only thing Kato could think of that might help Edie was time away. So he offered to leave for a bit. However, he hadn't been expecting his suggestions to be so readily grasped. He was left stunned once more as Edie leapt from his arms with gusto to hurriedly yank out her suitcase. "Edie..." Kato sat up slowly to sit on the side of the bed for a moment watching her with a quizzical brow raise. "Edie, stop." The glance that his girlfriend afforded him was heart wrenching and displeasing than her pleading with her façade of a smile through tear stained face. He swiftly stood and crossed the space, hands moving to grasp her but faltering before he could touch his previous place on her arms. Instead he reached and took hold of her hands to still them from their task. "Edie, slow down."

Concern etched his face as his stormy eyes regarded her cautiously. "We'll go, but slow down and take a few breathes ok?" Slowly he let go of one of her hands to close her suitcase. He moved with the slow surety that you would use to a frightened feral animal attempting not to spook it. "I'm glad you want to spend some time away with me. Let's just wait until morning though. I'd much rather spend the rest of our night with you in my arms here than dealing with traveling. We can leave first thing in the morning. It gives you time to think about where you want to go so we aren't just aimlessly driving around." Well, so she wouldn't be aimlessly driving around. Kato knew the theory of driving but hadn't actually ever driven a car before. He much preferred the sure solid ground beneath his feet. "Do you want to go to a beach place? I haven't gotten the pleasure of seeing you in a swimsuit yet." A small smirk twisted his lips as he continued to watch her for any sign of more unraveling. If she didn't calm by his efforts then Kato was worried she would slip into too far of a frenzy and require him to fetch Frost to force it from her.
