Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Rocking around the Christmas tree

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Okay so maybe she was being a little bit bossy in her demands that he follow her but there was a present to behold and that had to be seen to! After all, she had dragged it all the way over here from her own house, not to mention she was having complete faith that no one else in his apartment complex or any other random stranger passing by would be like OH MY GOD, FREE CHRISTMAS TREE. Because NO. It was not free. It was HER Christmas Tree and she was giving it to HER friend. Mine. Mine, mine, MINE. Still, it was with determination that she led the man into the alleyway, entirely expectantly staring at him with the hopes that he'd see it. After all, it was the only pretty thing in the alleyway, but nooo, the prettiness of that tree was lost on him. That's okay, she'd just have to show him. And show him she did! By climbing straight up it! Except, that..kind of...sort of...didn't quiet go as she planned. Oops. Weight disbursion was like...okay so maybe she should have known something was going to happen but her excitement got the best of her and those words of warning were lost in the sudden shifting of the tree. BOMBS AHOY! OR SOMETHING. AHHHHHHHHH. Thud -- ish?

Abigail found herself looking upwards at the man, her body half in his arms and half on his shoe. Well this was an unexpected place to be. Hello there! She found herself being lifted not long after, the girl hardly complaining as he brushed those pine needles from her fur. They were rather uncomfortable you know. The small panda immediately jumped onto his offered shoulder, attempting to be careful with her claws and the thin fabric of his shirt. She hardly wanted to make more owwies on his pretty skin! Which only naturally caused her thoughts to shift back to that sight she'd see like a few moments ago when he was wearing a lot less - no no! Shouldn't think about that! You don't think about your friends like that! You um....tree! Yes. You tree. It was the sound of his voice that turned her gaze away from the tree and towards him. A rather bashful look crossed the young girl's features as he so commented on her less than graceful nature. She tried to be all pretty and elegant like those exotic girls in her village that the boys like him often liked but, like he could tell by now, Abigail wasn't exactly the most...dignified of creatures. There was a small touch of embarrassment that filled the girl at his words, her head burying into his neck instantly in an attempt to so hide her features.

Thankfully, he hardly seemed to dwell on her for that long before turning his attention back to her Christmas tree, her own head peeking out from over his shoulder. A hint of excitement quickly overwhelmed the girl, however, as he reached down to so lift up that tree, her small body scrambling to his opposite shoulder to make room for the large pine she'd so dragged her herself. She knew from first hand experience how heavy that thing was! After all she'd dragged it here all by herself! It had taken time! And lots of tugging! And now look at Mr. Showoff, just throwing it over his shoulder all unphased like. The girl scoffed at him, shaking her head and yet, she was willing enough to play look out, barking any time he came too close to running into someone or something. Happily so through, her friend was capable of hauling it up all those flights of stairs and, soon enough, the pair were back in the warmth of his flat with her Christmas Tree. MISSION SUCCESS!

A chirping sound left her lips as the man leaned her tree against the wall, her attention turning back towards him as he stepped away from the tree to eye it critically. Seeee, it is a niceee tree, isn't it?! She picked it out at the store herself! In fact, she was quite proud of it, her pretty precious tree. Still, it was the touch of his fingers against her ear that so saw her head lean into his finger's the girl purring at that simple gesture as he began to talk to her. The corner store? They would have acceptable decorations. She didn't think about this whole decorations part. It wasn't like her family had many to begin with either though. Wait, new ride? The girl perked up ever so slightly at the sound of those words, altogether curious if this 'new ride' happened to be that car they stole. She still felt bad about that but without a slightest idea of who the person was, it wasn't like she could exactly apologize. Besides, Arlo put it back...right? He did put it back didn't he? A chirp left her lips as her hazel eyes turned towards him and yet, any effort she would have made to ask about it would have been lost anyways. Best to just see what this new ride was, she supposed.
