Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

Sebastian understood. He knew what it was like to lose his life. He knew what it was like to have everything going for him and then, at the drop of a hat, to have it all stolen away and to be left floundering in this new life he'd never asked for and certainly had never wanted. Unlike Arlo, however, he failed to find a silver lining in his own death for the past near two hundred years. The fae King he'd become smitten with was, perhaps, the only good thing to have come from that eternal life that being undead brought. Still, he listened as Arlo went on about that life he used to have, the vampire speaking up only once the man paused to encourage him to rekindle that once dream of being that rock star he so clearly had wanted to be. And really, why couldn't he? Why couldn't either of them? A small frown crossed his features as his companion admitted that those 'fans' he might gain in so rekindling that life would be but useless to him, the notion alone caused his eyebrows to furrow as he so struggled to comprehend that new found information, "Oh." He stated simply. "I....I thought it was preference. Sorry." He should have known better then assuming. Still, it was curiously unfortunately, the life this fellow had been forced to lead. He hardly seemed that bad of a guy, all he needed was a bit more self control - for someone to invest the time in teaching him.

His own internal considerations were interrupted, however, by that talk of music, a conversation he was all too easy to engage within, so near relishing in such a thing himself. In truth, he was rather impressed by the man's admittance that he was a songwriter, prompting Sebastian's eyebrow to raise ever so slightly as he regarded the fellow. Writing songs took actual talent, some most didn't have. He had written exactly two himself in the entirety of his life - both had never seen the light of day, even though he'd had each recorded in a studio. They were for him alone - pieces of his soul so finally realized. It took courage to put such works of art out into the word, courage he had lacked while Arlo had not. It was the inquiry of what he played, however, that brought a small simper upon his features. His head sluggishly blobbed, "Piano...little bit of violin...." The string instruments, apparently, were not for him - even if that still didn't stop the determined man from at least mastering it to an acceptable degree.

That talk of sex, however, brought those urges to life with the vampire, the man so struggling with what hs body near yearned for whilst also attempting to reason with himself to remain true to the man he so cherished. It was difficult, really, when his thoughts seemed so keen to stray to lifting that loose shirt off of the vampire's chest, to toying with that hemline of those jeans and seeing what lay beneath. God if only he knew exactly what Sebastian was capable of! The vampire's blue eyes drifted upwards at that inquiry and yet, he hardly seemed perturbed, even if his strongly accented lyrics seemed nearly drawn out and lowered as he spoke with care, "I...don't need...a harem..." And how truthful he was! He was capable of being anything Arlo desired of him. It didn't matter who. His identity, his appearance, it was all malleable if the younger vampire so desired it to be. Still, he found himself offering that bit of advice - that which he himself so often utilized. The trick was not to deny oneself....but to simply wait for the opportune moment. A small shrug crossed his shoulders at that inquiry of how long it had taken him to gain that control, math...years....they all seemed irrelevant to the vampire in his current state of mind. Rather, it was that suggestion that he was incapable of finding someone to practice with that saw a snort leave Sebastian's nose. "If only you knew." He muttered softly into Arlo's shoulder. He smelled good. Not in the food kind of good. Just...good. Speaking of food. He was hungry. No, he was starving - his tongue ran across his bottom lip at the thought, one, it seemed, his companion shared.

He was hardly prepared for the way the man leaned him against the brick wall behind them, the vampire near groaning in protest and yet, truly, he could do rather little about it. His limbs felt all rubbery and difficult to utilize, the vampire merely waiting till his companion returned - hell, he hoped Arlo would return. His gaze shifted as the man returned with a female in tow, the girl quite near collapsing into Arlo's waiting arms and yet, as the vampire leaned her against the same wall as he, Sebastian could only eye her with a look of discontent before his finger rose to so poke at the unfortunate woman in the forehead. His gaze rose at the sound of Arlo's voice, the vampire presented his companion with a small frown, "I give great sex advice." He muttered to no one in particular before his hand was so batted away from the young woman. His darkly hues gaze so eyed the man above him as Arlo so pinched his nose and yet, the man hardly expected the way his companion so abruptly shifted to pull him to his feet - not that he was terribly complaining. Rather, Sebastian was far more inclined to lean into that embrace, entirely unaware of what was about to occur.
That near nausea threatened to overwhelm him as he found himself suddenly upon the sidewalk of the main thoroughfare without the scariest idea of how he'd gotten there. A soft groan reverberated upon his lips and yet, he was even less prepared for the way Arlo simple released him, sending the man staggering forward. His shoulder hit the lamp post, the vampire inclined to simply cling to it when a near musical sound of laughter so caught his attention. His own affinity so lashed out and yet, tonight there was no rhyme or reason to that power. The man merely aw fit to so draw everything within his vicinity to him, to so amplify their lust for him, their need for him. He felt her fingers long before he quite realized she was there, the woman so slowly helping him turn so that he was leaning against that pole. Her lips rather abruptly found his own as his ability so ran rampant, his hands settled upon her hips as the vampire slowly broke that kiss only for his lips to so leave a trail down her jawline and towards her neck. His fangs quickly pierced her flesh, that moan near audible as it fell from her lips, the woman pressing herself even further into him as he so hungrily took that blood from her.

She was hardly the only pair of hands that had found him, of that he was vaguely aware - a woman had crossed the street at that touch of his ability, her body pressed against his side and slowly, his hand settled upon her waist. Thank god there was more. The first hadn't been enough. Slowly, his tongue ran over those wounds he'd made in her flesh, his brighter hud gaze shifted towards Arlo before he whispered a single sentence to the woman, his hand leading her into the vampire's direction. His own attention turned towards the second female that had so answered his siren call, that once giggling female was all too content to fulfil his request as she slowly approached Arlo. Her hands landed upon his chest as she leaned forward on her tiptoes, her lips but a mere inch from his ear as she whispered in a tone entirely breathy, "Are you dazzled yet?"
