Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Boredom...it was a truly dangerous thing for the child, more so than hunger. Hunger could be quickly quenched by seeking out her chosen human now. Boredom could lead to games where the humans didn't survive. Although it was rare for the petite vampire to play with other children, the fae child she had come across had proven entertaining. The only thing was she didn't know where the girl lived. The fae child must have had parents and must live somewhere in Sacrosanct.

This was the predicament the vampire found herself in now, wandering the residences in hopes of crossing the scent of fae. As the sun began to touch the horizon though Anna was becoming more and more frustrated at not finding the fae. At least the shadows were returning and giving her something to toy with as she meandered down the sidewalk. The one thing Anna still disliked about daytime was the lack of shadows. She quite enjoyed her shadow play and was getting better and better at it. Tendrils of shadow elongated from beneath the shrubbery to reach out and curl about her finger before forming into the wispy shape of a cat no bigger than a chess piece on the palm of her hand.

A flash of auburn out of the corner of her eye caught her attention, causing the shadowy creation to dissipate and pulling her gaze up the short driveway to the source. The little creature which she had found in the backyard of her hideaway now stood in the driveway reaching for a vine hanging just over the garden fence heavy with ripe strawberries. It was much like the last time she found the creature. Everything seemed to be just out of reach for it. She could relate on a level to that frustration.

With the stealth born of her species she stalked up behind the red creature before suddenly reaching down and snagging it once within reach. "Lady, you naughty little kitty!" Anna turned her little 'pet' around to look in its eyes. It wasn't like she had ever seen another before so surely this was the same one. "You shouldn't run away like that." Anna huffed though smiled all the same and hugged her Lady...albeit probably a little too tightly. "You could have been eaten by something. Where'd your collar go?" Her gaze swept her pet's neck, noting that the ribbon she had tied around it was missing. "Now I have to find you a new one." She sighed heavily, turning to leave with the panda, who she apparently decided was a type of cat, tucked in her arms then faltered. "Almost forgot." She turned back about, lifting the red panda up so she could reach those strawberries that had alluded her- might as well let the creature have those sweets she had been working so hard to get.
