South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

her eyes hold the apocalypse

South
She's a natural in disaster
The silence after and before
We're the ones she's chasing after
She's coming back for more

Tamzin didn't even know where to start. In about five minutes her entire life had been flipped upside down. She thought that she was done feeling anything, but her duty and desire to get her job done and get paid. She didn't know that actual human emotion still lingered within her poisoned mind. Turning into a Dark Hunter was supposed to take care of that pesky thing called a conscience. At least that's what she thought, but Sera was proving her wrong. Why couldn't all the years that passed make her numb to at least one more person? Somewhere deep down she knew that would never be possible when it came to the dark hair woman standing still alive before her.

Her question was turned back to her and she studied Sera for a few silent seconds before her shoulders shifted in a shrug. Tamzin really had no idea what to do next, but she knew what would help immensely, alcohol. One hand lifted and she ran her hands over her hair that still remained in the bun that meant business. Her mind started drifting to many of the other ways she could have killed the witch. If she would have listened to that pesky voice in her head telling her to do something different and kill from afar she wouldn't be in this situation. At least from far away she wouldn't be able to look into those familiar eyes and feel all those things from the past come rushing back.

"Drink."

Was the simple answer she finally gave and she zipped her jacket back up. The weapons seeming to disappear, there wasn't even much of a bulge. Then again, Tamzin always made sure to wear clothing that would hide things that shouldn't be seen by everyday eyes. Not that it really mattered, if someone saw something she didn't want them to see, she would always find a way to take care of it. Yet for some reason that part of her just wasn't working right now, and once again she was fighting a battle against herself. The lithe female turned away from her mark and started heading out of the woods, she knew there had to be a bar nearby. A deep breath was drawn in then released as she walked with confident steps that she wasn't at all feeling within herself.

Tamzin didn't even care if Serafina joined her or not. She mostly needed to get the alcohol to calm her nerves the slightest bit, maybe then she'd be able to go back on her word for the first time. She doubted it though, she knew herself well enough to know that her word was everything. Then again she did give her word to have the witch dead before nightfall, and it was clear she hadn't been successful with that mission.

Her hand curled into fists as she walked, her mind going a mile a minute. It was then she heard footsteps off to her right, and she automatically stopped moving. Slowly her head turned and her eyes searched the trees and bushes for whatever made the noise. She had the feeling she was being watched though, and that was something she didn't like. Her fingers gripped the jacket and she slowly started to unzip her jacket, and just as she was about to pull her gun out a deer stepped out from behind the bushes. Her eyes locked with the animal, and for a few motionless seconds they simply started, one beast to another. Then just as it came it disappeared again and a sigh passed her lips before she glanced over her shoulder to see if her childhood friend was following her.
