Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

and i said as i recall, we both kinda liked it

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

Why was it making that noise at him? Was it...barking? It sounded like barking. Google hadn't told him anything about the noise they made, the vampire so assuming that this was surely normal for the animal even if it was a decidedly strange noise. He wandered readily back into that room the moment his towel was returned to the bathroom, gaze flicking from the opened window to the floor and back again. The window evidently having not proven good enough for her. Bossy thing, wasn't she? He moved easily to that door then, opening it wide before bending down to scoop up his little charge and hold her against his chest, shutting the door behind him as he stepped into the hall, heading for the stairs. That happy little squeak that so erupted from within her was almost cute really, his lip quirking slightly upward as he moved to carry her down those stairs and towards the front of the building. It was a shame, really, that she was leaving so soon. He really wouldn't have minded the company in any sense and yet he supposed he could hardly command any animal. Arlo so oblivious to the truth of the girl and yet perhaps it was for the better, Abby so achieving in those few stolen moments they had shared together a truly honest look at the personality that was so Arlo in all his glory, one he so adapted in the presence of others as so many surely did. After all, he assumed he to be an animal and little more. Her intelligence surely stemming from her status as a witches familiar or some other sort of magical creature- but a human, surely not, his experience with Weres truly limited beyond the occasional snack. The girl twists within his arms in that moment, leaning up to lick his cheek before turning to settle once more.

"You're weird."

There was, if anything, no lack of good humour to his words as he steps outside at last, oblivious to that chill in the air, bending to place his Little Bear upon the sidewalk now, assured she would merely scamper away. His blue eyes linger upon her still as she bounds ahead now before abruptly turning to stare at him...for a really long time. What? Was she waiting for him to leave? Weird animal. He pivots in place, preparing to wander back up those stairs and into his apartment to go back to his watching of the TV as he had planned only to have the panda rush forward again. The animal began to nip at his jeans, grabbing those loose strings, tugging at them as if to pull him forward before winding in and out of his legs like a cat.

"If you put a hole in my jeans I will....I don't know....make you sit with my while I try and sew them back together."

With no small amount of cussing either he was sure. Sewing hardly a talent he possessed. That the girl wanted him to follow her however was evidently clear. Arlo moving to trail behind her and into the alleyway beside his house. Where were they going? Why was he following a Panda? Was this a sting? Why was it staring at him like that? His own features frown if only slightly, before continuing down that path, allowing the panda to lead him to what appeared to be a bunch of trash cans and junk. Arlo pausing to glance around for several moments as if expecting to see something almost outstanding there. Animals were perfectly odd things, he had decided, the vampire turned expectantly to glance at the Panda once more, admiring that russet fur that stood out in the gloom. Red, after all, was a truly pleasing colour.

"Alright Chicka, why am I in alleyway?"

Maybe she wanted to go for a walk or something? Arlo somewhat unwilling to repeat the last adventure they had taken together, impromptu though it had been, bright blue eyes turning to rest upon her expectantly once more. Well- this was proving to be an unexpected night if nothing else. At least his time spent with his Little Bear was never boring.
