South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch could feel the press of the cold metal barrel bite into her flesh, enough to momentarily caused the girl wince as it bore into her skull. Her intense eyes settled on the blonde woman in front of her, watching her with complete and almost childlike faith that the woman wouldn't pull the trigger and end what remained of her short life. Serafina was silent and still, hardly a breath leaving her sweet heart lips as she waited with what seemed like infinite patience. Everything about the girl seemed entirely placid, unafraid in spite of the death that was quite literally staring her in the face. She had survived a hunter twice now, and perhaps an egotistical part of her was entirely certain she'd walk away a third time. After all, so much of their childhood had been spent together, running the streets like haphazard hooligans, taking what the needed, learning to live off of it, even if, at the end of the day, Tamzin had always had a place to return to. There was too much history between the two women for something like this to happen.

She watched with poise as the gun was slowly lowered from her forehead, turned sharply to the nearest tree before the rounds were released with a sharp and echoing 'bang, bang, bang'. Despite the loudness of it, the girl was hardly phased by it. After men like Davante and Azrael, how could she be? Compared to the things they had put her through, to the weapons she had watched them wield, this was almost welcomed. Her gaze shifted back towards the blonde female was the woman turned, her features softening ever so slightly at the moniker she hadn't heard in years. It reminded her of the life she'd had before this whole mess - before being stolen from her cold streets, before turning into a witch, before cutting her wrists to make her potions more potent, being the only thing she was capable of doing at least somewhat successfully. My, had things changed.

Slowly a shrug crossed her shoulders at her childhood friend's inquiry. "You would know better then me." She commented, her soprano voice reaching out to her companion. In truth, she was more then just a little curious on what she was wanted for dead. Did someone discover her mentor's absence? Did one of his partners not fully accept the tale she had spun or had one of her customer's been unhappy with the potion they had received from her? There were too many what-ifs. Serafina didn't like what-ifs. A small shrug crossed her shoulders as the girl shifted awkwardly, entirely unsure of what to say. "What do you want to do, Tam?" She inquired, her gaze slowly trickling back towards the woman with the first hint of uncertainty creeping into her otherwise steadfast demeanor.
