Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Kato was always so remarkably gentle outside of their romps within those blue sheets of hers. As such, the girl was mildly stunned as his fingers forced her head to the side to get a better look at the bite marks on her skin. There was nothing gentle about the touch, nothing that resembled her Kato at all. "It wasn't a big deal," She said as she pulled herself in closer. She needed that touch on his skin. Edie needed to feel those intimate touches from her boyfriend to make her feel alive again. It seemed to be the only thing that might make her heart stop racing and her body relax. As such, her fingers continued to trail around his bare chest, the inebriated girl oblivious to the jealousy that ran within those veins. "I don't want to talk about Damon. I just want to be with you tonight..."

The girl jumped at the sound of his voice, even the intoxicated girl able to tell that the tone of voice was not the normal one for the man. She let out a confused yelp as he grasped ahold of her upper arms. His fingers were rough on her skin, and she whimpered as he shook her almost violently. "Kato, don't..." She mewed, her eyes focusing on him as he began to speak. "He wouldn't have ki..." She started, letting her voice trail off as he shook her again before letting her go to fall back on the bed. She squeezed her eyes shut as she laid on the bed, her arm across her face as she took some deep breaths in the attempt to steady the rapid heartbeat that came along with the actions of the man.

How many times had Beck grabbed her like that? She'd lost count of the number of bruises that he'd left on her skin in his bouts of anger? That had been one reason she'd fled, after all. It had been one thing that had drawn her into Kato's arms in the first place. His gentle nature and the way he seemed to support her always. To see him have this anger - the very same anger she'd seen from Beck - stole her breath. She continued to lay there even as he continued to speak to her, the guilt that plagued her seeming to draw out both a bit of her sobriety and her tears. "No," She said pitifully, moving to sit up and draw her eyes up to him. She felt horrid. She felt small. She felt as though she'd drove a knife into Kato's heart directly.

"I didn't... mean to scare you..." She said the words cautiously as she struggled to maintain her tears. But there was no maintaining him. They came readily, and she made no effort to wipe them away. She'd felt this way with Beck so many times, but with Kato it was even worse. With Beck, she'd hardly known which way was up. She'd always felt responsible for his emotions, even if there was no way that it fell under her fault. But now, with Kato, it was her fault. She'd made those choices of her own free will, and he was hurting because of it.

"Please, I'm sorry," She fought through the tears and the world spinning to reach her hand out to him, catching his fingers as he paced near the bed. "Kato I'm so sorry. I... we didn't do anything... I... please... come back to me." The girl let out a pathetic mew, her free hand reaching up to rub the reddened spots on her arm from his fingerprints where bruises would soon begin to form. "Please, please... Kato..."
