Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

That steady pitter patter of rain upon the wet streets of the metropolis were both utterly comforting and, in turn, entirely vexing. He adored that sound, if only for the way it so reminded him of home. That month after their return from overseas had seen the vampire near aching for those familiar English shores, even if he said nothing of that longing desire within his breast. And yet, in spite of his love for that rain, he could hardly deny that it made hunting decidedly difficult. He was hungry, that feeling gnawing at his stomach to the point that finding some source of food had been a near necessity. He had considered even venturing to the West side in a vain effort to coax his lover to allow him to feed from his flesh, even if he'd taken quite frequently from the King these past few days. It was that knowledge alone that had him outside, desperately seeking someone.

She - the woman whose company he currently kept - had been a decidedly easy prey. She had been on her way home with grocery bags in her hands, struggling with them while crossing the street. It was a product of perfect timing, the way the Englishman had so swooped in to catch that falling bag of groceries, offering to assist in taking them back to her apartment, even if she so fret for the other plans he'd had that evening. If only she knew. She'd invited him upstairs for dinner and yet the pasta she'd fed him had paled in comparison to the taste of her blood afterwards as they sat nestled on the sofa with his fangs in her neck and the sound of his name moaned on her lips. Innately, he knew well how that evening could have gone if he had stayed and yet, even as her lips so tenderly brushed against his own, it was the fae Monarch that had so gripped his thoughts, eventually causing the man to excuse himself before he crossed those boundaries he'd swore off. She had, naturally, been remiss to see him leave but, moments later Sebastian found himself upon those city streets utterly alone.

The vampire drew that trenchcoat closer towards his frame, flicking up that hood from the jacket he wore underneath. He turned the corner from that little alleyway and towards the main streets, seeing little reason to remain upon the wet streets with the still blustering wind tearing down that avenue. Home was, surely, where he belonged, the vampire only despairing over the fact that the man that he too belong with would be decidedly absent. Still, Dorian lingered upon his mind, his fingers lightly twirling that golden ring on his finger whilst he walked down that street, entirely inattentive to the fashion he was quite literally being stalked. Rather, Sebastian fished that phone from the depths of his pocket, his fingers moving deftly across that screen to send a text message to the very man that so lingered upon his thoughts. There was several moments of silence before that phone vibrated within his hand, his pace slowing as his gaze brushed briefly over the interface, reading those words so playfully offered in return. A small simper crossed his features as Sebastian glanced upwards, suddenly aware of the presence of another on the periphery of his attention.

He glanced upwards with a questioning glimpse upon his features, merely blinking at the fellow that stopped so abruptly to stare at him in a trance he almost recognized. Hunger? His eyebrows furrowed as that phone was slid back into his pocket, entirely confused as to why one of his own species seemed to so blankly regard him. "Yes?" He questioned, prompting the vampire to continue with whatever was supposed to come after that 'um'. There was a shift within the fellow, one even Sebastian recognized and yet, it only served to further baffle him, his own figure tensing in an instinctual response. That confusion, however, was quickly replaced with surprise at that admittance that he smelled good. It seemed entirely complimentary on the outside and yet, the predator knew well exactly how those words were meant. Still, he'd never quite had been prey to another of his kind, this entire situation utterly...bizarre.

That apology was hardly out of the man's mouth before the vampire disappeared and, immediately, Sebastian knew what was going to occur. That sharp pull of the man's hand upon his clothing sent him stumbling backwards into the fellow's chest, that vampire strength rivaling his own and yet, he was hardly inclined to have his own meal stolen from him. There were few options left open to him, Sebastian hardly inclined to spend the rest of the night simply grappling with the fellow. Rather, it was those threads he so called to, those knots of fate quickly had become one of his most frequently utilized affinities, even if it was often not for their usual intent. That thread quickly wrapped itself around the vampire's hand to offer a layer of protection - fate itself, after all, could hardly be bitten through even by the sharpened canines of his own kind. It was easy to move with Arlo's body, leaning further back into the fellow and yet, it was his fist he was all too willing to shove in the opposing vampire's mouth. That gesture was certainly not forceful by any means, more intending to be a gag of sorts then any kind of act of violence. After all, Sebastian himself was not nearly as inclined as his prey often was.

A soft huff left his lips as he glanced upwards, regarding the man he now fully leaned against. "How long has it been since you last ate?" He inquired nearly immediately. Sebastian could only assume the fellow was....young if he intended to so feast upon his own kind. Surely he would have sought out the blood of the mortal kind if he was capable of doing so. He must be near starving to so attack Sebastian. "Why don't we find you a nice girl you can eat, hm?" The man continued, surprisingly...helpful, given the situation he found himself in. Though he wasn't particularly partial to being attacked, and even less so to be made into food, he remembered well what it was like to be that hungry. It was a feeling he hardly wished on any other of his kind, even this stranger who so deemed him a delectable snack.
