South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

for the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey
her speech is smoother than oil
but in the end she is bitter as wormwood
sharp as a two-edged sword
her feet go down to death
her steps follow the path to Sheol

- PROVERBS 5:3-5;;
The weight of the blade slowly disappeared from her neck, leaving the young woman to stare intently at the Dark Hunter that rested on top of her. She had considered once before returning to their hang out spots as kids, to see if she could track down the girl who had helped her survive on those cold harsh streets. Then again, they had grown up since then and Tamzin had never been an orphan to begin with, not like them. It was this knowledge that had kept Serafina from returning though she had thought of them far more often the she had ever let on. Slowly her fingertips reached up to trace Tamzin's cheek in a rare glimpse of true affection, her grey eyes searching the features of the woman above her. She had always trusted the girl with all of her as a child and even now she couldn't help those feelings that it would be okay, it was Tamzin and she was safe. A small frown crossed Serafina's sweet heart lips at Tamzin's explanation, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. "I didn't realize 'saving' meant turning someone into a killer." She responded softly, her gaze never once straying from the girl above her.

A small shrug crossed her shoulders at the woman's question. Serafina didn't want to admit the truth. She didn't want to say she'd be stolen away by a warlock and forced to learn the craft. After all it would only damper her steadfast belief that not all of their kind were evil. "I was taught." She replied simply, keeping the complexity of the truth to herself, even if that too meant refusing to acknowledge her abandonment of the female and all those she had once called her friend. She watched as the woman rose, sliding her knife slowly back into it's sheath and for a moment Serafina allowed herself to hope that the time and distance between them hadn't entirely tainted their once strong relationship. It was a fleeting thought at best if only because not moments later the young woman was left staring down the barrel of a gun. Her eyes slowly shifted from the cold metal to the equally as frigid blue eyes that glared at her with quiet determination to kill her. A soft sigh left the girl's lips as she slowly rose to her feet and though she had a small vial within her grasp, she didn't throw it at the most recent threat to her life.

Instead, despite everything her basal instincts yelled at her to do, Serafina simply stood there, staring at the woman and the gun in her hand. She didn't care if her refusal to do as Tamzin said somehow angered the Dark Hunter. After all, she was going to die anyways, right? She might as well do it on her own terms. Vaguely, she couldn't help but to wonder if Tamzin knew Azrael or what he'd think of her death. She doubted he would even notice, much less care. And Davante? Well, lately she'd fucked up his life enough as it was. Raven was far too gone to notice her absence either. It was funny really - she was finally off the streets and yet, at the end of it all, her life hadn't changed that much. She watched as Tamzin took several small steps forward, her head steadfast, her body tense as if she was waiting for Serafina to make some effort to defend herself. Unfortunately for her, Serafina still believed far too strongly in their friendship to do such a normal thing. Instead, the girl took one, slow, small step forward, letting the barrel of the gun gingerly bump into her forehead. If this was what Tamzin wanted, if she wanted to see the end of Serafina's life, then she was going to have to watch when she blew the young witch's head apart.
