Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Kato Buhari

Edie was a wild card, that much Kato had come to understand and accept for the most part. He could handle her flirtatious attitude towards others if only because she never touched them (at least he thought so), and it was he who she shared her bed with. Tonight though it seemed like that understanding, that trust was being sorely tested. He hardly heeded her protests of the bright light as he was more intent to figure out was the going on with his girlfriend. Her slurred speech was one thing but her overly flippy nature was unusual. It wasn't until he forced her head to the side and questioned her about the wounds did things seem to click.

The scent that was on Edie which he had questioned moments before made sense. The new scent of not just a vampire but a male caused Kato to furrow his brows. He accepted the flirting but to know that a male vampire had been in such an intimate position with her was angering. But that wasn't it, no, the icing on the cake was that she fed from him! Wasn't that how vampires were made?! Perhaps it only worked on the human variety but she had no idea how it could have effected their species! And does that mean she did more with him? Had that vampires hands been more intimate on her form, had it been that males name on her lips instead of his own as he felt her in ways only Kato had for months now? For a moment Kato was given to simply stare at Edie before anger flashed across his face. It was a truly uncharacteristic look on his features. Of course he had been stern with her before and even protective, but angry was a new one.

"Edie, what were you thinking?!" Kato couldn't help the flare within himself as he took hold of her upper arms and shook her as if he could knock the sense right back into her. "That vampire could have killed you! You don't know what could have happened by feeding from you. You.could.have.died!" Again he shook her before letting go, his reddened hand imprints surely on her porcelain skin from his strong grip on her. He gruffed as he pulled away from her touch, slipping from the bed in order to stand as he couldn't bring himself to be still now. Kato found his boxers from the floor and pulled them back on before turning on Edie with hardened gaze as she begged for things to stop spinning. Every part of him was telling him to walk out but...that wasn't what you did in a serious relationship. You stood your ground and righted things. "You want to know about my night, Edie? I came back here, for you, because you left without any warning to go off for whatever reason and I was here to spend time with you but once more it's empty. I spent the night worried that you'd gone and gotten yourself in more pack rival trouble and were laying somewhere because you didn't call." It had only been Claire assuring him that she was fine that Kato had remained in the house to wait. Kato paced a few steps in front of the bed before rounding on Edie once more. "And now, now my night involves my girlfriend telling me that some other male was all over her and she ...drinking from him. You could have died...I could have lost you....is that what you want Edie?!" He had already gone through losing those he loved before and couldn't handle going through it again because of this downward reckless spiral she seemed to be in.
