South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
It had never occurred to Serafina that one of her customer's might want her dead. Perhaps one of her mentor's contacts but she had taken meticulous care to ensure they never found out what happened to him, despite their sometimes rather persistent inquiring. She was certainly not the type of girl to be on a hit list for...well, anything. Serafina kept to herself, providing exemplary service to her customers, ensuring that their wants came to fruition - even if they did not quite understand the consequences of their desires. Never the less, the point remained that Serafina had absolutely no notion that someone might be following her. Her entirely attention was directed to the world ahead of her - not paranoid enough to be concerned by the blond woman behind her. She had taken a glimpse of the girl once, while waiting on the corner of the sidewalk for the light to change but with so many individuals in the city she had thought nothing of the woman's continued presence at the light two blocks down. After all, they could very well be traveling somewhere in the same vicinity of destinations. If there was anything her homeless childhood had taught her - fear was not one of them.

Instead, Serafina made her way towards the woods surrounding the city, her steps were cautious and careful as she trudged through the snow with a soft: crunch, crunch, crunch. She paused at the sight of greenery buried beneath the fresh ivory, bending down to brush away the snow with her gloved fingertips in a fool hearty hope that what lay underneath might be one of the items she was looking for. A small frown crossed her sweet heart lips as she brushed away more of the snow, finding that the plant in front of her was certainly not on her list and was instead rather common enough for it to be inconsequential. Of course those were the ones that survived the winter harshness. There was a sigh on her lips as she made to stand, pausing only by the soft sound of...well, something. Her head turned, fully intending to glance behind her but Serafina never quite completed the gesture before, quite to her astonishment, a sharp grip upon her long ebony locks forcefully pulled her head back, exposing the pale, porcelain flesh of her neck.

Serafina felt the force that threw her to the ground, her fingertips immediately going for her bag and the vials that existed there within for moments exactly like this. She felt the weight of a body against her's, her grasp clutching on one of her vials before the cold press of silver on her neck saw her still almost entirely, her grey tinged gaze slowly focusing on the figure of the woman above her. Serafina's eyebrows furrowed for a moment as she studied the female on top of her, slowly realizing, quite like the woman herself, that Serafina knew her. It had been years since her life upon the streets - a decade even but Tamzin was a face that she was entirely incapable of forgetting. "Tam?" Her voice echoed with the same hint of disbelief and confusion as the blade pressed further against her skin. "What are you doing?" She found herself questioning, shifting ever so slightly in an uncomfortable fashion. It took a moment for the sense to hit her, that bitterness on the back of her tongue, the one that immediately was followed by her instincts screaming at her - ones that she'd gotten quite good at ignoring with Azzy's continued presence of late. Dark Hunter. A small frown crossed the girl's lips as her hand slowly rose to caress her once dear friend's cheek. "What have they done to you?" She inquired, hardly able to believe that her companion would have willingly turned into a killer. My oh my, how they had come so far.
